UK Domestic Shipping

Delivery Times

Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days after payment is confirmed. Please note:

  • Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays
  • Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays will be processed the next business day
  • During busy periods (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas), processing times may be extended

Estimated Delivery Times (from dispatch):

  • Standard Delivery: 2-4 business days
  • Express Delivery: 1-2 business days (available on eligible orders)
  • Next Day Delivery: Order by 10am for next business day delivery (Tuesday-Friday only)

  • Delivery Time: Varies by destination (typically 10-25 business days)

International Shipping Notes

Important Information for International Customers:

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
  • International orders may be subject to customs inspections, which can cause delays
  • You are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and fees imposed by your country
  • We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they will be
  • Customs policies vary by country; please check with your local customs office for more information
  • We mark all international packages with accurate values and descriptions as required by law

Brexit and EU Shipments

Following the UK's departure from the European Union:

  • Customs Declarations: All orders to the EU require customs declarations
  • Duties and Taxes: EU customers may be charged VAT, customs duties, and handling fees by their local customs authority
  • Delivery Times: EU deliveries may take longer due to customs processing
  • Under £135: For orders under £135, we collect and remit VAT to the appropriate EU country where possible
  • Over £135: Orders over £135 will be subject to import VAT and duties payable by the customer

We are not responsible for any customs delays or fees incurred during international shipping.

Order Processing

Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days
  • You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase
  • You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships

Order Cutoff Times

To ensure same-day processing:

  • Standard orders: Place by 2:00 PM GMT/BST
  • Next day delivery: Place by 10am (Tuesday-Thursday only)

Pre-Order Items

If your order contains pre-order items:

  • Your entire order will ship once all items are available
  • Alternatively, we can split your order (additional shipping charges may apply)
  • Pre-order items will display an expected availability date on the product page

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive:

  • A link to track your parcel online

You can track your order by:

Delivery Issues

Failed Delivery Attempts

If the courier is unable to deliver your order:

  • They will leave a card with instructions
  • You may need to collect from a local depot or arrange redelivery
  • Parcels will typically be held for 7-14 days before being returned to us

Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your parcel appears lost:

  • Contact us at contact@alfieandbella.co.uk if your order hasn't arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe
  • We will investigate with the courier
  • We may ask you to wait 7 days from the dispatch date before opening an investigation

If your parcel arrives damaged:

  • Take photos of the damage (both packaging and contents)
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate

Wrong or Missing Items

If you receive the wrong item or an item is missing from your order:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide your order number and details of the issue
  • We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible, typically by sending the correct item at no additional cost

Shipping Address

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for:

  • Orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
  • Lost or delayed deliveries due to incorrect address information
  • Additional fees for re-routing or return of parcels due to address errors

Important:

  • Include flat/apartment numbers where applicable
  • Provide a contact telephone number for courier delivery
  • Use a secure delivery address where someone can receive the parcel
  • Consider using an alternative address (workplace, neighbour) if you won't be home

PO Boxes and BFPO Addresses

  • PO Boxes: We can ship to UK PO Box addresses via Royal Mail
  • BFPO Addresses: We can ship to British Forces Post Office addresses
  • Please ensure you select the appropriate shipping option at checkout

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Refused delivery
  • Unclaimed package
  • Customs rejection

We will contact you to arrange reshipment. You will be responsible for paying additional shipping costs. If you do not respond within [NUMBER] days, your order may be cancelled and refunded minus original shipping costs and a restocking fee.
